It's so incredibly tedious.     

I'm sorry to say that in virtually all states it's illegal to keep a wild born coon as a pet except under special circumstances.

If you cannot live without one of us in your house, move to a state that allows you to buy a raccoon from a licensed breeder after obtaining a permit from the state.

To find out if your state allows pet raccoons and the restritions placed on the owner, contact your state department of wildlife. If it's legal, they will give you a list of breeders licensed to sell you one of us.
